Summer Activities
Hiking
With its extensive network of well-marked trails, the Passeiertal Valley offers wonderful hiking opportunities throughout the seasons.
In spring, follow the traditional irrigation channels known as Waalwege, winding through blossoming apple orchards. Summer invites you to explore the alpine pastures of the Texel Group Nature Park or the Hirzer Plateau, home to South Tyrol’s largest area of alpine roses.
In autumn, the valley bursts into spectacular colours, while pleasantly mild temperatures often make it possible to reach mountain summits well into October.
Families with young children can also discover the beauty of the Ötztal and Stubai Alps, with some trails even suitable for pushchairs. Along the way, welcoming mountain huts invite you to stop, relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, leaving the stresses of everyday life far behind.
