From St Leonhard, it’s only 20 kilometres to the charming spa town of Merano, one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful towns.

Getting Here

By Car

From Munich via the Brenner Pass and Jaufen Pass: Follow the motorway through Kufstein, Innsbruck and Brenner. Take the exit at Sterzing (Vipiteno), then continue over the Jaufen Pass (2,094 m) towards St Leonhard in Passeier, approximately 40 km from Sterzing.

From Munich via Bolzano and Merano: Follow the motorway past Sterzing to Bolzano and take the Bolzano Sud exit. Continue along the MEBO expressway towards Merano, taking the Merano Sud/Sinigo exit. From there, follow the signs for the Passeiertal Valley.

Via the Reschen Pass: From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, drive over the Fern Pass to Landeck, then continue across the Reschen Pass (1,504 m) towards Merano and into the Passeiertal Valley.

Via the Timmelsjoch Pass: From June to mid-October, you can also travel through the Ötztal Valley and cross the Timmelsjoch Pass (2,506 m) into the Passeiertal Valley, weather and road conditions permitting.

Once you arrive in St Leonhard, follow the yellow directional signs to Mooserstraße 10.

By Train and Bus

Travel by train to Bolzano (Bozen), the main railway hub in the area, and change for Merano. From Merano, regular bus services take you to St Leonhard in Passeier, with departures approximately every hour or more frequently at certain times
